Design for security
Security belongs in the architecture from the first decision. It is neither a final review nor an afterthought.
Protect correctness
Models can be probabilistic. The software around them still needs clear invariants, validation, and predictable failure handling.
Use resources well
I account for latency, compute, cost, and human attention. Efficiency is part of product quality.
