Make it count
I would rather do fewer things and make them hold.
About
I hold myself to a higher standard because the lower one is crowded. Clear thought is not virtue; it is advantage, and I intend to keep it.
Principles
I would rather do fewer things and make them hold.
The work is measured against the bar, not the circumstance.
A compromise is not a finish just because it is easier to ship.
I will listen. I will not outsource the verdict.
Interests
I like turning vague intent into something that runs, holds together, and can be changed without ceremony. Rust has most of my attention right now.
I use models to move faster without thinking less. They are useful when they make the work sharper, not when they make the operator lazier.
I like designing systems that can absorb pressure without becoming a mess. Simplicity over spectacle.
Anime, manga, and novels. Stories with conviction, worlds with rules, and characters who refuse to become smaller.
Working standard
I care about the line between impressive and useful. Impressive is easy to fake for a demo. Useful survives repetition, pressure, edge cases, and the boredom of daily use.
My default mode is to reduce ambiguity, identify what matters, and build the version that can stand up without explanation. The goal is not more. The goal is better.
Current focus
There is one primary thing taking most of my attention. I would rather build it than describe it.
This site will become the place where I collect that work, write through the tradeoffs, and keep a public record of what deserves more attention.
